Marilyn, all my post tell you what family they are in. Coneflower is not a family. Coneflower is a common name for some of the genus in the Asteraceae (Aster Family). Sometimes called the sunflower family. It is the largest family only rivaled by the Orchid Family. Most of the plants in the US that were members of the Asteraceae Family have been moved to the new Compositae Family. So, did I really confuse you?
Are these in the coneflower family?
